Jianrong Zhang, MD, MPH is a PhD Student (in General Practice) at the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at the University of Melbourne (Australia). In 2008-2016, Jianrong accomplished medicine degrees at Guangzhou Medical University (China). From 2017 to 2019, he studied epidemiology and biostatistics as a Master of Public Health candidate, and learned health policy as a Clark-Fox Policy Scholar, at Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis (USA). His research interests include population health, oncology, thoracic surgery, primary care, health services research, study design & methodology, research on publications, and health policy. In 2014-2020 (29 Oct), Jianrong published 20 research articles, 2 reviews, 2 case studies, 11 perspectives/editorials, 2 letters to the editor & 15 conference abstracts in peer-review journals, and had presentations at several international conferences (e.g., WCLC, ESMO Asia, SCT Annual Meeting). Jianrong is also a reviewer of high-impact journals, a member of several academic societies (e.g., IASLC, ASCO, ATS, SCT, CHPAMS, AAAPC), and an editor of some academic journals.
